Rome is a beautiful city with a lot to do.
Rome is a beautiful city with a lot to do. The down side is there are so many people and crowds that it makes everything ten times more difficult to do or get to. What we enjoyed the most was taking the metro to different piazza in the evening to grab dinner away from all the crowds. Our favorite meal was in a quiet corner of the Jewish ghetto!!

Everything was great. We loved Rome.
Everything was great. We loved Rome. The only drawback was that there were way too many tourists and the sidewalks, particularly near the Spanish Steps, were too crowded, although it's hard to complain, considering that we were tourists too.

Perfect! It was absolutely amazing — one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I would definitely love to come back next time, and I’ll be recommending it to my friends too. Everything was just perfect.

If you can, wait until after summer. 25,000 visitors a day going to Vatican. Tours was so crowded you could barley move-unable to see most exhibits. Wait until Autumn if possible. All sites in Rome packed right now.

Rome is one of our favorite cities in the world. The location of hotel Nazionale was perfect close to everything. We walked everywhere like you do in Rome, but this location was perfect. The opposite side of where we stayed last time and we will definitely stay here again.

There’s something magical about waking up in Rome—stepping out onto cobblestone streets that have witnessed centuries of history, the warm morning sun illuminating ancient ruins like the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Strolling past charming cafés, you’re greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly baked pastries and rich espresso. Everywhere you turn, you encounter art at every corner: from the grand fountains in Piazza Navona to the breathtaking frescoes in the Vatican. As evening falls, the city’s golden glow casts a romantic spell, inviting you to linger over a plate of pasta and a glass of wine on a sidewalk terrace. In Rome, every moment feels suspended between past and present, making it a truly incomparable experience.

Residenza Maritti is a marvelous hotel. I have stayed here perhaps 20 times in the last 7 years or so, whilst living in Italy. It is quite simply one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. The location is nothing short of spectacular; the staff and owners very kind and helpful; the rooms full of character and history as well as being spotlessly clean; the rooftop terrace has breathtaking views of ancient Rome. When I come to Rome, I always stay at Residenza Maritti. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the Eternal City from.
We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍
I spent my birthday weekend here (my first time in Italy) and everything was lovely! From the moment I arrived the nice lady at reception made sure to answer my questions, and even gave me recommendations on where to go in Rome (with a map). The suite itself was gorgeous and the location is beautiful. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants close to the hotel. I plan to visit Rome again next year and I will definitely consider booking here again. :)
The location was phenomenal. It was quiet, safe, and a stone throw from every main Rome attraction + the best food. We were shocked on how centrally located the property was AND how quiet it was. I traveled around Italy for 6 weeks with a friend and this was our favorite spot to stay! It is small but its all you need and very nicely decorated and new and cozy. the AC was the best and also new :)!! The hosts were so friendly and kind.
Very good Location if you need a hotel close to where the buses go from to Rome Airport
Breakfast very good for Italy, the best of the three hotels we stayed at in Italy
